Now Offering UBCO Electric Bikes!
The Utility Bike Company (UBCO) was born on a ranch in the heart of New Zealand's countryside in 2014, thanks to the vision of Daryl Neal and Anthony Clyde. Their goal was to design the ultimate off-road electric bikes, capable of handling New Zealand's challenging landscapes.
Over the past nearly ten years, UBCO bikes have found a diverse audience, from hunters and daily commuters to pizza delivery services, including Domino’s. In 2017, the company expanded its operations by opening a second headquarters in Eugene, Oregon, and its product line has evolved from a single bike model to four distinct offerings.
The lineup starts with the Work Bike, followed by the Adventure Bike, the Hunt Edition, and the top-of-the-line Special Edition Bike.
These bikes have a weight range of 111 to 116 pounds without their batteries. Adding the battery increases their weight by 40 pounds, bringing them to a total of 151 to 156 pounds. While they are on the heavier side, comparable to other electric motorcycles in the market, their weight means that transporting them using a standard bike rack, with or without the battery, is not an option.
