What happens to limb armour as it gets older? Replace your armour!

The armour was updated in this riding jacket. The results in the top table are from the MotoCAP Merlin Hixon test report from March 2019. The results in the bottom table were measured at the Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University motorcycle clothing testing laboratory. There was a 38% decrease in energy absorption after 40,000+ kilometres of riding over four years.

For those interested the replacement armour has an average force of 15.8kN which is a 16% improvement.
