This collaboration with Harman Kardon's audio specialists has enhanced both the speakers and microphone, making the 50S a leader in sound quality for motorcycle communication devices. The newly designed speakers and microphone provide crystal-clear sound and robust voice communication performance for riders.
Enhancements in Mesh technology ensure a clearer, more reliable connection. Riders can choose from two Mesh network options: the Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom for connecting with virtually unlimited riders within a 5-mile range, and the Group Mesh Intercom for private groups of up to 24 riders. Additionally, a four-way Bluetooth intercom mode is available for connecting with other Sena Bluetooth users up to 1.2 miles away.
Voice commands in eight languages, including English and Spanish, allow easy control over the 50S functions, like answering calls or initiating a Group Mesh session. The device charges fully in just one hour, offering 9 hours of Mesh or 14 hours of Bluetooth talk time. With the Sena WiFi Adapter, a 20-minute charge provides up to 3.5 hours of Mesh or 6 hours of Bluetooth communication, and the adapter facilitates automatic firmware updates for convenience.
